Make early voting and absentee voting easier
As showed in this election, many Americans would prefer to vote earlier than election day, or vote via the mail, than to turn out on election day due to other obligations such as work. While many states already have absentee voting, some swing states such as virginia did not have absentee or allowed early voting and it disenfranchised many voters who could not take that time off to vote. With this being said, all states should have early voting set up 1-2 weeks before elections at easily accessable public locations so people who want to vote earlier when election day is not on a week day can do so.
Absentee ballots should also go out in the mail 3 weeks before election day with a voters guide so election votes can be tallied faster, and thus make the results and jobs easier for election officials.
Also if possible, make it so that when you apply and recieve for your drivers license (when you turn 18 of course), that it automatically makes you eligible to vote if you are a U.S citizen. (This makes id theft harder, as well as makes it so that voter fraud is that much harder)
