    This position will only create a way for big companies (google, microsoft) to more directly lobby Federal policies about technology.

  3. Create the Paperless Federal Office

    Federal agencies should convert each end to end paper business process to end to end electronic processes using automated workflow, e-forms, digitized documents, and retrain existing staff (recruit new staff if needed) to improve operational efficiency.

  4. viruses as a terrorist act

    Viruses, malware and spam cost America more in time and money than any other single act of terrorism. True, there is no loss of life which is the true cost of terrorism. But it still seems like a good idea.

  5. Lower the cost of High Speed Internet Access

    Tax pornographic and gambling sites. Those revenues will directly go toward lower the costs of High Speed Internet Access for ALL Americans. These kind of sites use the majority of the nations bandwidth, I suggest the pay for it's usage and help lower costs for the rest of us.

  6. Reward Technological Improvements program

    Reward any American citizen that can come up with an idea to reduce costs in any government program with the use of technology. Once the proposal has been vetted and proven by a research panel or technology board the citizen would receive 10% of the amount saved for one year above the costs of implementing that technology.

  10. fund the NASA highway in the sky program

    From an ecological perspective, highways and automobiles cause more damage than many other actions man performs. Expediting the transition to sky cars will not only allow ecosystems to exist as they once did (i.e. without an interstate highway cutting them in half), but will also allow us to spend less money on maintenance. Plus, sky cars would be faster, easier to implement autopilot functions on than street cars, and could totally revolutionize society in many other ways. If we actually invested in this idea, we could have the first cars flying around out there in 5-10 years, maybe even less.…

  12. Use government web sites to meet agency missions

    Currently websites tout lots of organizational bragging and announcing initiatives. Use them to deliver service and make them an integral part to meeting the agency's mission.

    If you are homeless, can you find shelter using the HUD.gov website?

    If you have no health insurance, can you get it via HHS.gov?
    Can you find out if you are eligible for welfare from HHS.gov? If you are eligible, can you apply online?

    Currently, the answer to these questions is no. Try searching on "welfare" on HHS.gov. You get lots of studies and research...nothing useful to the person who needs some financial assistance.…

  20. Remove the cap on wage earnings for social security

    SS has a cap on wages where there is no more tax after a certain wage has been made. Remove that cap. Everyone regardless of how much they earn, should pay into Social Security
