  7. In the last 8 years we have band-aid'ed every major aviation problem without giving it the attention it truly garners. Our safety, our children's safety, and our grandchildren's safety depends on this. Aviation Ground Incursions are currently the biggest pit fall we face... lets not have another Tenerife!!!

  9. Reduce mixed matched technology from different branches of our government, reduce needed techs to fix various solutions that exist now, and gain stronger buying power with technology companies for better deals. Hopefully this will greatly reduce technology screw ups such as the IRS wasteful project that failed to the tunes of Billions.

  10. Unblock all government agencies from sites like YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, Scribd, and more. Currently many government organizations are blocked from using these basic social networking and document collaboration sites out of unjustified fears.

How can the new administration openly discuss government initiatives, programs, or even notify the American public about new services, tools being offered by the government if the government itself can't even use these basic tools?

  13. Battery technology will never catch up to the power production of fossil fuel vehicles. It takes too long to recharge and they will go bad before the car is no longer useful.

Ultracapacitors on the other hand have a longer lifetime and recharge much, much faster than batteries. Funding and research needs to be done to make a fully electric vehicle that will compete/replace gas and diesel vehicles, in an effort to drive down fuel costs for Americans.

On-Air broadcast news reports carry quality symbols/labels that describe the degree to which the news story was produced adhering to journalism ethics standards: ex. 5 stars for high quality journalsim - 0 stars for rumors/tabloid level journalism. 17. Everyone has a performance metric against which they are judged on a regular, sometimes annual basis. Voting someone out of office is not a reasonable or efficient mechanism for changing the performance of Congress. We need to set a prioritized national agenda against which Congress could be judged on an quarterly, bi-yearly or annual basis. There is no results-orientation in Washington. Nothing ever gets done, we need to create a mechanism where by Congress has defined goals and their performance against the achievement of those goals is measured regularly, publicly and with consequence.

  18. Use satellites and unmanned drones to locate cannabis, coca, and poppy plants. Then use unmanned drones deliver herbicide or fire to destroy the plants. Allow destruction to limit supply. Less supply drives the price up. Higher prices can influence demand. Less money in the hands of drug cartels helps our neighboring countries protect their law enforcement and judicial officials, and drains terrorists of revenue needed to fund operations against the U.S. and its allies.
