Jumpstart Grade School Education
The crisis that the US primary and secondary schools are facing is no secret. Somehow we need to connect students with great teachers who are not only knowledgeable but also inspirational.
We need to have middle and highschool material available for free online. MIT is doing this now but only for college material.

One of the biggest problems with public education today is that students have such limited time in the classroom. My children probably have half hour classes, during which teachers pretty much passing out and collecting assignments and doing tests, and my kids are teaching themselves at home with their text books and HOURS of homework.
