    We not only need nuclear, but also research in fusion as well as processes that do no require burning any fuel: e.g. solar, PV, OTEC, wind, tidal. Until these defuse energy technologies and the transmission and distribution systems are updated, we will need to depend on the concentrated sources: nuclear, fossil fuels, large scale hydro.

    Many Sarbanes-Oxley that have nothing to do with financial reporting have been sucked into the provisions of this act. The act needs to be repealed or massively revised. It costs industry too much as it is now written.

    The change will be painful for most of the nontechnical population. Technical and engineering professionals have already made the switch in many industries. Undergraduate engineering programs have been "metric" for years.
