Should Obama "Call to Action" To help our local schools?
People are ready to mobilize.
The schools need our help now!
Teachers need resources & help with over-sized and/or unruly classes.
We can start building relationships with local public schools and school boards now that can translate into immediate assistance during the economic downturn --- (i.e., fundraising, mentorships, teacher support)
We don't have to wait for a tax credit.

Aggregate all these Sites Telling Obama What to Do
I have noticed that there a group of sites that are using a rating system similar to Digg to find out what people want President Obama to do once he takes office. However, I have a few concerns and some suggestions to make your mission more successful.
I came to this realization while reading Alan Boyle’s article “Wired Whitehouse” that there are too many groups doing this with the plan of passing it on to the administration. Wouldn’t it be better to contact the administration and have these as one sister site to the transition site?

Establish UWBIA (Universal Wireless Broadband iNet Access)
The USA should lead in wireless broadband Internet access. As a cartel of Telecom Monopolies - in Collusion with the Bush Administration blocked the market entry of hundreds of ISP's (now bankrupt and gone), with real wireless broadband solutions to the "Last Mile Strangle Choke Hold" of the cartel, the change we need is a program where the Federal Government would partner with school districts, power companies, and local governments - nationwide - to establish Wireless Broadband forward. This International Public Utility is too precious a public treasure to allow Telecom Carriers further monoply control.

Obama's Swing states win was made successful in part by youth and latinos. Now is the time to listen to the voice of Latinos in America. What are your ideas for latinos engagement in this new administration?

Broadband for all communities
Many people can not get broadband cable or DSL like the Poor Clare missionary nuns in Sylmar CA who are 1000 feet from a connected community and told they would have to pay $10,000 to get it.

National Service Agenda
More Americans should be involved in governance, such as Teach for America, Vista Volunteers, National Parks maintenance along with international efforts to end poverty, hunger, disease, and conflict.
Service is important for everyone, and we should make it easy to do the right thing and get engaged with civic and community life.

In regards to: The Nation Wide Foreclosure Problem
In regards to: The Nation Wide Foreclosure Problem
From: A concerned constituent
To Whom It May Concern:- I look at it from the bottom of the problem up.
- Who is most in real need of survival help should be the government’s main focus first.
- Home owner’s personal residents only are #1 priority in my way of thinking any thing beyond that is there problem alone. The price you pay for poor financial investing.
- Not second home mortgages / vacation homes / investment homes or properties…
- I believe its time for some financial institution to step up to the plate and…

Foreclosure auctions only for owner occupants
Many foreclosure auctions should be restricted to people that will live in the homes as the primary residence. To many homes are being sold to investors that rent the homes out, and do not care about the communities. Communities are turning into waste lanes of rental properties. People that want to own homes are out bid.
