Set Regulations for Online Gaming in the US
In order to ensure installment before Obama takes office, the Fed. Reserve and the Department of the Treasury published the final rules implementing the UIGEA on Nov. 12th.
By doing so, the regulations against payment transactions involving Internet gambling become effective Jan. 19th, the day before the Obama is inaugurated.
These regulations are vague and fairly difficult to enforce.
Instead, the online gaming community should be legalized and regulated so we can benefit from the taxes as the residents of Nevada and Atlantic City do.

Standardize InfoSec across local/state against int'l attacks
One of the major priorities needs to be the defense of our local, state and federal government systems from foreign attacks. This would include hardening the infrastructure, standardizing encryption standards and data formats. This Informatoin Security plan would include coordination with legislative and judicial branches with regards to privacy, crime/punishment, custodianship and, as necessary, budgets.

Create moon-mission for renewable energy transition
History has proven that when the American people have sufficient will, they can achieve amazing things. The Manhattan project and moon mission were both great examples of this.
Completely weaning our country off non-renewable energy sources is a problem that will require an equal level of determination. If we expect to do this, we should dedicate an unprecedented level of resources to the problem. The transition will not be easy, but it will create a huge number of new jobs and will reestablish the USA as a technological leader in the world.

A plan to end the war in Iraq within months
In a nutshell, it's about running a big media campaign in Iraq to show good willed intentions, win hearts and gain trust.
I imagine Obama speeches addressing the so called terrorists, explaining that Iraq needs them. I imagine speeches telling that for US troops to leave, order must be restored, that the damage has to be undone and that we need to work together. I imagine president Obama talking common sense, appeasing hurts, asking for reconstruction and cooperation in a movement of hands joined together. I see him as a bridge builder and therefore I imagined him building bridges as…

Medical marijuana users are't criminals, stop prosecuting!
Honestly, I could care less if I ever got to smoke marijuana in my life, but I do care that thousands of people each year are being arrested after using the worlds safest and most natural drug for their illnesses including: cancer (chemotherapy), AIDS, nausea, fever, glaucoma, Crohn's, migraines, etc.
Medical marijuana patients are NOT criminals, stop wasting the justice department's resources by prosecuting and incarcerating those who use it.
Simply moving the drug to schedule II (even though I believe it has a very low chance of psychological dependence) would solve so many issues.
Marijuana does not cause cancer,…

STOP controlling the media; it is illegal;
The USA brought over top Nazi's after the war to learn all they could; one of them was political propaganda which meant 1/2 or more of Germany had no clue what was going on: THIS media conglomeration to control "public perception" is illegal; the "management perception" military term means that they use lies, & false reports appearing true: to deliberately mislead & deceive; perhaps it should be called "the great deception" NOT democracy;

Tax gas and use money for development of alternative energy
Tax each gallon of gas up to $1.00 as long as current price under $3.00. Use 3/4s of the proceeds to develop alternative energy sources and the other 1/4 to support short term off shore drilling which will continue to help keep the cost of oil down, and thus allow the tax to continue and help reduce our dependence on others for energy.

Ending the use of Home Heating Oil
The lowest of low-hanging fruit in our quest to reduce oil consumption is to find alternatives to home heating oil. Something like 8% of our total oil consumption is simply for heating.
Other alternatives for home heating like natural gas or heat pumps exist.
Some form of tax credits could increase conversions, up to a full ride for those that qualify. This would:
1) reduce oil demand
2) allow elimination of the home heation oil subsidy program
3) prevent Venesuela, through Citgo, from getting a public reations coup by saying they are giving home heating oil to poor americans3 votes -
Drive a transition to sustainable energy technologies
The U.S. currently derives about 83% of its energy from fossil fuels. The cost of energy is subsidized with tax dollars, with the majority going to fossil fuels. With sensible government policies and funding, renewable and sustainable energy sources, most notably wind and solar, could dominate the U.S. energy market by 2030, greatly reducing American's carbon footprint and alleviating the cost impacts of declining fossil fuel reserves. With no fuel costs to contend with, the main driver for sustainable energy costs is capital investment. With technologies still young, companies not fully capitalized and markets small, significant returns on investment are…
